The Club was formed in the early 1900s and the Earliest record of league participation was 1925. The club has two greens, both have Floodlights so the season runs from late March to October. Current Membership is 70 plus, made up of mixed players.

Junior Members are included. Membership Fee at present is £35, this includes membership to the host club, insurance, & entry fees to all League & Cup Competitions.

At least one Green is available for open bowling during the day.

The Club has a good social side e.g. Bowling Trips to Seaside Resorts and other social events. There is also an Indoor Rink where there is a winter league. Separate fees are paid for Indoor Bowling.
