U15s - Bramley Vs Barnsley

Bramley U15's 42 - Barnsley U15's 5

Barnsley U15's travelled to Bramley Pheonix for their opening game of the season with four players making their debut for the Shaw Lane side.

The first half proved to be a tough forward battle with Barnsley dominating in the rucks and mauls but being unable to turn the possession in to points.

Bramley scored two tries out wide through their well drilled back line before the Barnsley pack almost touched down following a series of aggressive rucks.

Just before half time the Barnsley forwards lost possession which allowed Bramley to score a try in the corner.
The second half saw the home side move the ball wide at pace and scoring twice before Barnsley's best period of the match.

Sam Moss took a quick penalty and fed captain Dominic Barrow who went over for a deserved Barnsley try.
Bramley crossed the line a further three times to give a final score of 42 - 5.

Special mention must go to debutants Jordan Fletcher, Jamie Todd, Josh Lewis and Liam Roebuck who all had excellent games.
