U15s - Scunthorpe Vs Barnsley

SCUNTHORPE 0 - BARNSLEY 48

Barnsley U15's played a thrilling, expansive game of rugby away at Scunthorpe which resulted in a deserved 48 - 0 victory.

Straight from the kick off the Shaw Lane side moved the ball wide with excellent interplay between the forwards and backs.

The first score came from a typical Kane Feek bullocking run, which saw him crash over after dispatching several Scunthorpe defenders.

The second try soon followed with Josh Lewis touching down wide out following a flowing move by the backs.

Adam Parr was next on the score sheet showing the Scunthorpe backs a clean pair of heels. He squeezed over in the corner and Dominic Barrow added the conversion.

Barrow then dove over for the first of his three tries following a neat interchange with the Barnsley back line.

Ant Denton smashed his way through the Scunthorpe defence after picking up a loose ball at a ruck for the fifth Barnsley try, Barrow adding the conversion. The Barnsley Captain then crossed twice in quick succession to complete his hat-trick.

The final try of the game was arguably Barnsley's best with a 50 metre driving move from the forwards being finished off by centre Adam Parr.

Man of the match for his solid front row performance was Sam Wollerton and special mention must go to Tom Henighan who had a superb debut for the Shaw Lane side.
